Connecting Incompatible Devices to Our WiFi Network

Please be aware that certain WiFi-enabled devices, such as Smart TVs and gaming consoles, may not be natively compatible with WiFi hotspot systems like ours.

This limitation arises because our systems require presenting a web page for paying customers to input their access details before allowing the device online.

To address this issue, we've implemented a workaround that allows you to connect your device as follows:

  1. Connect to Our WiFi Guest Network: First, connect your device to our WiFi guest network.

  2. Note the WiFi MAC Address: From the settings screens of the device you wish to connect, please take note of the WiFi MAC address. If you need instructions on how to locate the MAC address, refer to the guidance here.

  3. Access Your Dashboard: Login to your dashboard via https://dashboard.myfi-zones.co.uk from any device.

  4. Allocate Internet Slot: Select your active plan, then choose the internet slot you wish to allocate.

  5. Allow Online Access: From the list of devices detected on our network, locate the one that matches the MAC address you identified in step 2. Select "Allow Online" for that device.

Upon completion of these steps, the slot will be allocated to your device, and it will be able to access our service seamlessly.
